We dove into deep mountains to see this man, great banjo/fiddle/guitar player and probably the last person preserving long tradition of London/Corbin area of Kentucky.

He gave us the warmest welcome, and we recorded several tunes.
All songs had very unique melodies, harmonies and picking styles we never experienced - even famous tunes like "Billy in the Lowground" had a rare chord progression, and beautiful melodies which made us feel a kind of sentiment.
Every take was just awesome.
He learned a lot about banjo from his uncle Henry Bunch, and he also told us a lot of stories.

We were so lucky to have such a great banjo picker, and also one of the best guys we ever met.
