A quilter at world famous Quilts of Gee's Bend, AL, and the manager of Gee's Bend Quilters Collective.
She was making a new quilt at Quilter's Collective when I got there. She showed me tons of her works, and told me many things about her quilt and life.
She even gave me her recipe for butter and nut pound cake!

She sang 3 spirituals for the recording. So touching. Her voice was warm, kind and strong, just like her quilt and herself.
Felt deepness in her music. Deep, deep as Alabama River.

I was fortunate to have this wonderful opportunity.
