We came back again to London KY to see the master.
Jack Bunch is a Kentucky banjoist / fiddler and has an influence from his uncle Henry Bunch. Jack is the last person in a long tradition of banjo and fiddle players in the London/Corbin area of Kentucky, which produced such people as B. F. Shelton, Henry Bunch and Pete Steele. We recorded several banjo tunes which he learned from Henry on the porch - the recording caught the banjo sound, crickets chirping, friends chatting and his dog walking around - that was such a beautiful night.
