Duwayne Burnside

Duwayne Burnside, son of the great RL Burnside, is still playing his Hill Country Blues around the States and going strong. We were fortunate to have the field recording session again with him at a thrift shop in Holly Springs MS.
It was in September 2019, 2 months after the pass of David Kimbrough Jr. It was a beautiful tribute to record some of Junior Kimbrough tunes as a tribute to David, such as "Meet Me in the City" and "Lord Have Mercy on Me". We also did a jam session in fron of a coffee shop "Bottomless Cup Coffee" just after the recording, which was one of the greatest moments in this recording trip.
